Demetrios Sarantopoulos DDS, MS, FACP
Board- Certified Prosthodontist & General Dentist, Licensed Specialist- Prosthodontics
A graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Sarantopoulos completed an additional 3-year residency at Marquette in the advanced specialty program in prosthodontics, one of the nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. Once completed, Dr. Sarantopoulos subspecialized in the field of dental implants by being one of only two doctors accepted into the dental implant fellowship program at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
While at The Ohio State and Marquette Universities, Dr. Sarantopoulos instructed at the undergraduate dental level. In addition to his practice, Dr. Sarantopoulos is published and often presents at local, national and international forums. With a caring nature and attention to detail, Dr. Sarantopoulos is passionate about patient care. His special training in implant reconstruction and his prosthetic background in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry makes him an expert at diagnosing and treating difficult cases.
Dr. Sarantopoulos is a member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.
During his downtime, Dr. Sarantopoulos enjoys family time, sports and other outdoor activities.
Dr. Katerina Smyrniotis-Halkias
Dr. Katerina Smyrniotis-Halkias did her undergraduate studies at Loyola University and continued with her dental training at Loyola School of Dentistry, graduating in 1993. During her time in dental school, she earned several academic and clinical awards in dentistry, namely induction into the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honors Society, Academic Award for Oral Medicine and an award for clinical excellence. She grew up immersed in Greek culture in Chicago and even lived in Columbus, OH for a short time. She currently lives in Glenview with her family. She enjoys family time, watching the Buckeyes, baking, yoga, boot camp work outs and traveling. Â
Dr. Kathy is a member of the Hellenic American Dental Association and her church’s Philoptochos Society. She enjoys participating in community fund raisers and 5Ks.
Her philosophy is to treat every patient like family and her passion is to help them achieve the best oral health possible through education and conservative comprehensive care.

Hygienist
Karen brings to our office many years of experience, not only with general dentistry but also periodontal therapy.
Karen is certified in CPR/BLS training as well as local anesthesia. Karen believes education is necessary for professional growth, therefore she continues to participate in CE (continuing education) courses.
Karen takes pride in developing relationships with her patients and educating them to achieve optimum dental health. She enjoys building rapport with her patients and their families. She enjoys all ages of patients from children to grandparents.
In her free time, Karen enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her husband and their three daughters.

Office Manager/ Patient Coordinator
When you enter our office, you will be sure to meet Jola, our office manager and patient coordinator. If you have any question regarding your insurance, appointment, treatment or finances she is our go to person.
The best part of her job is to help everyone, from the moment you walk in through our door, Jola is committed to help you every step of your way.
With the solid background in customer service she enjoys the day to day interactions with the patients.
In her free times she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
